The law firm of Valentin Neuser ("
neuser LEGAL") collects, processes and uses your personal data within the framework of its business only with your consent or mandate or order for the purposes agreed upon with you or if there is any other legal basis in accordance with the DSGVO exists. If you are an opposing party of clients of
neuser LEGAL, your data will be used to the extent permitted by law. Always the applicable data protection and civil law provisions will be complied with.
Only such personal data will be collected that is necessary for the performance and processing of the legal services or which you have voluntarily provided to
neuser LEGAL and have made available.
Personal data is any data that contains individual information about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video recordings, photographs, voice recordings of individuals, and biometric data such as fingerprints. Sensitive data, such as health data or data related to criminal proceedings, may also be included.

As a client or, more generally, as a data subject, you have the right at any time - subject to the lawyer's duty of confidentiality - to obtain information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as the right to rectification, data transmission, objection, restriction of processing, and blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.
If there are any changes to your personal data, please contact neuser LEGAL and provide the information.
You have the right to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transfer, in the latter case provided that this does not involve a disproportionate effort, may be addressed to the address of RA Mag. Valentin Neuser listed in Section 9 of this declaration.
If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by neuser LEGAL violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority (Datenschutzbehörde) is responsible for this.
3. data security
Your personal data is protected by appropriate organizational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, unlawful or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation.
Notwithstanding the efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be excluded that information you provide to neuser LEGAL via the Internet may be accessed and used by others.
Please note that neuser LEGAL shall therefore not be liable in any way whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by neuser LEGAL and/or errors in the transmission of information not caused by neuser LEGAL and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hacking of e-mail accounts or telephones, interception of faxes).
4. use of data
neuser LEGAL will not process the data provided to it for purposes other than those covered by the mandate agreement or by your consent or otherwise by a provision in accordance with the GDPR.
